I had the pleasure of attending two social etiquette classes run by Marianne, which focused specifically on mastering the Q&A and interview segments of pageantry. During the classes I learnt techniques and skills to improve my articulation and diction. I was also taught methods to help calm my nerves during public speaking and one on one interviews, which are situations I have always struggled with. I truly believe the knowledge and guidance Marianne provided during her classes is what enabled me to win best in Q&A and best in one on one interview in the 2019 FACE WA Pageant. The new found knowledge I have gained from my lessons with Marianne will not only benefit my pageant journey but also help me during future job interviews and public speaking opportunities. Thanks to Marianne I am now able to answer questions in a clear and concise manner, which will also help me in my future career as a health professional.
